Dog is man's best friend

We left the front door of our house open when we left for work the other day. When we returned at night, we found our dogs, Puji and Attorney sitting side by side right in front of the open door looking like valiant soldiers ready to fight. Our neighbors gladly told us that the two dogs did not leave the door till we come and were really very attentively looking at the every passer-by all the day. We were so delighted and pleased with our faithful pets that we treated them to a sumptuous meal as a reward for their good job. Dogs do really make good security guard to our homes and they really are man's best friend. Do you have any story that could prove this saying as well? Please share.
