Want some advice on making money from the Web?

I've recently decided to seriously look into making money from the web. I've read countless articles, visited sites and basically came up with one simple answer. You can't make serious money on the web unless you spend serious time and serious effort.
Making serious money from the web is not as easy as it looks. One good way to earn money is by getting companies to advertise on your website. You need to start with an idea. Something that has value so that it attracts a LOT of web traffic. Put your idea into action. Drive traffic to your website and start getting advertisers.

Steve is a thinker with some great ideas and a very good income from his website. He has a lot of great articles that can help encourage someone to work hard enough to make a living.
I believe that making serious money online is like starting your own business. At first it isn't worth it at all. You work very hard and get nothing from it. Then you get a few pennies. Soon a few dollars. Over time you have worked your way up to making money that is exciting. It takes a lot of time, but it can be done as long as it is attacked from the right mindset.

I agree aiden and one of the things he mentioned that I liked that when you've managed to really setup your internet business, it's like being on auto-pilot and you keep earning while doing less work. Dream come true for me!
