As most of us are well aware of, this year's UEFA Champion's League Finals will be held in the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia. Over the past few weeks, I've heard of desperate fans willing to fork out up to £1000 just for a ticket!! Mind you, this is not including the cost for the return flight to and from Moscow as well as the accommodation which is currently ranging from 150-300 Euros per night, with conditions of 2 night minimum stay. Then lets not forget the hassle of getting a Russian visa which costs £100 and takes approximately 1 week to process. I'd say, even for those who did manage to get the travel packages from their respective football clubs, the minimum amount would still come up to around £700-£1000!! How much would you be willing to pay to go for it?

Well, don't think it's a matter of money rather than one of pride. In any case, Moscow is an xtremely expensive city, but I believe it's worth the money.

Really? forking out so much just to go see a match? Ah well, I suppose those who are going are probably going to stay a whole lot longer than just that 1 day.. After spending so much on everything else.. So I guess that's a yes for davidabraham? ok I just realized I shouldn't have asked how much would you be willing to pay, instead... I rephrase my question: Would you be willing to fork out so much just to go support your team?

Actually, momentarily, I am in the same situation as blue4ever, but I believe that it's not only the match that counts, it's the show.

I think its a ridiculous amount of money but I can understand why people want to be there, you can't beat the atmosphere of a live game. I thought that you didn't need to get a visa if you had a ticket for the final as the Russian authorities were taking the ticket as a visa. Even so it is still really expensive. If I had the money I would be prepared dto pay about £1000. Crazy or what!!
