It depends for me on the issue, sometimes I just vent, blow off steam by telling someone who cares enough about me to let me vent, and get it all out. Sometimes I need to have some quiet time to calm down, especially if I realize I am over reacting. Sometimes I need to resolve the issue, it is a matter of mentally taking a step back and saying ok this bothers me and then seeing why this bothers me and then discussing it with the person who the conflict is with and discussing it, and tryin to maintain that need to be clear on things, of saying look this is how I reacted to what was said, or what happened and this is why, then working things out from there, which includes trying to understand why the other person may have said or reacted as they did. Sometimes it is a knee jerk emotional response which means an argument that needs to be healed later, with calm discussion and or apology on my part, or their part, or likely both our parts as it often takes two to argue.

yes, one other way is to tell another person your anger and ask him/her to just to listen...it will really take your burden or heavy feeling coz' by anger.

For me it dependson the situation. IF my hubby is just being a royal jerk then I will clam up and go about my day with a grudge on my head. If it is my kids I will give myself a time out to calm down. The only other thing I would do is either come to mylot and vent or I will play a game either on the PS2 or my computer.
