Fellow MyLotians...myLot has a glitch!

Ok...so, it appears the newest myLot glitch is with out profile pages. They are here one moment, gone the next! I only know this as a friend sent me a PM wondering how to handle it. He couldn't get to his profile page but, I was able to earlier. When going back to copy and paste the link for his profile page to send to him in a PM in the hopes of helping him see it, I got an error for his page. So, then I tried mine...same error. And, then I began to try others...again...same error message. It seems, no one here has a profile anymore! At least, not the people I have tried thus far.
So, if you have that problem, don't freak out. My guess is that myLot is doing an update and somehow fudged our profile pages up!
Relax, have fun with what you can still do on myLot and, hopefully they will straighten it all out soon!

i didn't even realise that mylot has a glitch on the profile page until i read your post... i will check it out now and see what happens... thanks for updating us on this news... take care and have a nice day...

or it could be just a glitch in the system that just showed up and they are working on smoothing it out

Wow!! If they have screwed up our Profile pages on here, then how can anyone get a Friend to check out and respond back to their New discussions, or even better yet, sign up to be a Member of myLot. If they are doing some kind of upgrade here, they need to hurry and get it done, as the glitches on here are geting a little worse again. But I for one, am still proud to be a member here, so I guess we will just have to wait it out, and hope this does improve.

LOL! Those glitches can get a little annoying! LOL!
As for the profile page glitch, it looks like they fixed it. It doesn't seem to be happening anymore. In fact, it doesn't seem like it was widespread. I am not even sure anyone but me and my friend who called it to my attention had it happening! LOL!

I got the same PM from him and I had no issues getting his profile to work. Kinda weird it seems only some were having the issue. So can you see profiles yet?

I can see them now. I don't know what happened but it seems like only Plunketear and I had the problem as no one else here seemed to have any problems. So, maybe it wasn't wide spread. Or, maybe it was just he and I. Or, maybe it was just at that moment because, earlier, before I got his PM, I was able to see his profile when responding to a response he left me in one of my other discussions. But, then when I got his PM, I couldn't see anyone's profiles. I even tested yours and it wasn't up.
But, it seems fine now!

I haven't looked at any profile pages lately. I just tried my own and it shows up as does yours. So being 6 hours later it seems cleared up for now at least.

It seems like only Plunketear and I had the problem. Maybe others did and just didn't notice it because they weren't trying to check profiles. I don't know. It was weird because one moment I could get into other's pages and the next, I couldn't. But, it seems ok now!

Anytime at all. I have so many friends and emails
each day I seldom have the time to check profiles
is why I had not noticed.

With a score as high as yours I am sure you have not only been here for awhile but have also seen alot of changes here at MyLot! I am sure you made your payout level by now? What did you set it at and what did you do with the cash? I haven't reached mine yet (set it $100). They send a check to you home or paypal? Do you have advise to give me to speed up the process or maybe even be more effecient? Any advise you can give would be awesome. Thanks!

To answer your questions, I have been here for about 4 or so months. I have not made payout yet but, I won't discuss any of the specifics as it is against the myLot guidelines. Our payouts are private and myLot frowns upon any discussions about them. I don't know how they pay for sure as, I haven't made payout yet.
I don't have any advice to give you on how to speed up the process. I am not here to make money. I am here to make friends, share ideas, thoughts, give advice on life issues when asked, joke around, cheer people up or be cheered up.
And, I am sorry! I really am not trying to be mean or rude but, did you read my discussion topic at all? You didn't say anything about my discussion in this response which tells me you are only here to see your points go up so you can make payout. I really am not trying to be mean. I welcome you as a fellow myLotian. But, you have not shown me the courtesy of responding to my discussion. You only asked me a bunch of questions that have absolutely nothing to do with my discussion. That is also frowned upon here at myLot.
Again, don't take any of this the wrong way. I struggled with how to respond to your response here because it really bothered me to see that you really must not have read my discussion at all and now you are expecting answers from me on how to get you where you want to be as far as earnings here.
Please do better at responding to the discussion instead of trying to work your own agenda.

I didn't notice any issues with the email notifications! LOL! But, I have been in and out of myLot today! It could just be that it is a Sunday!
And, I don't tend to go to profile pages unless I get a friend request or I want to see if any of my friends left me a comment. I wouldn't have noticed it if it weren't for one of my friends telling me he had a problem.
But, it seems to be fine now. It was weird though. The error was basically saying that the page didn't exist! I beg to differ! Cortjo73 most definitely does exist! LOL!

I have not noticed this one!! I shall have to go and see if I can get on mine in a minute when I have finished speaking to you! I do not go on mine much and only very occasionally do I go on anyone elses so I would not have noticed it anyway. Thanks for letting us know though, see ya later xx

Hey GR! Did you notice a problem? I think it was fixed shortly after I posted this. Unless it was something that only a few people were experiencing. I wouldn't have known there was a problem if one of my friends didn't PM me about a problem he was having. But, it seems fine now so, it was, hopefully, only temporary!
