well you always see cricketers going to the gym and doing a lot of cardio work. but how does bodybuilding (trying to gain muscle) effect your cricket perforamce? will it make you slower and bulkier? or faster and stronger?

hello adadrian. i think that going to the gym not only fit but also increases your stamina and endurance... it is not just that people go to the gym just to get some extra muscles... but also for the other reasons. have a good day.

If a cricketer is bulkier it will more likely for that cricketer to give up this career. In cricket you have to be very athletic. Cricket involve alot of running so if you are bulky just give up the game. It is because of fatness Lara and Inzaman have to retire. They were not contributing the way they use so the individual fans start to lick out against them. So instead of losing the weight they retired. So you see it is a no no in cricket.
