here s a topic which has been discussed by people , government and other ngo s from agaes but i feel there is no perfect solution or conclusion for this.i ll discuss a case just help me out.. my grabnd mother was 70 when she had some problem in the brain and we took her to the hospital for treatment , there they decided that she may enter coma in few months and she ll a living dead body since then till she dies, we were heart broken and wudn wanted her to go in that stage..so we tried all other altenatives nothing worked out but.. since last 3 yrs she cant speak , she cant walk , she acnt eat ,she cant do anything and as good as the doc described her...the whole atmospher of the house is changing and its having a bad effect on the children in the house,,,,tell me is it not good to have mercy killing in such cases??? our govt doesn allow it here but certain genuine cases like this can be given an exception...

I think the humane thing to do is to let her pass. When there is no quality of life, we should let them go. Can the doctors unplug the machines keeping her alive? I do believe that this is legal.
