Does your mail ever get lost and so you don't get your bills on time?

This is not so much a problem for me now, but back when I had lots of credit cards, it was essential that I get my credit card statement on time or I'd end up paying late and have a huge $30 plus late fee attached. That was no fun. I only let that happen once and then I started keeping copies of the bills and paying the bill whether or not it arrived in my mail box. Sometimes our local postman loses our mail or never delivers it. Or, maybe it gets stolen from our box. I am not sure. It's a little more than annoying. Does that ever happen to you? Does your mail get lost? Has your tax refund or pay check ever gotten lost in the mail?

I had the problem for about a year that my mail was being delieverd to Florida and I am in Pennsylvania. My grandmother had stayed with us for about 3 months so she had her mail forwared to my house. When she left she cancelled her forward. Well I don't know how it happened but they started forwarding ALL the mail to her house in FL. What a pain. She kept having to send it back to me. This went on for about a year. I called the post office I couldn't tell you how many times. I "forwarded" my mail to myself at the post office in FL and PA. Every time my grandmother would receive a peice of my mail I would call the post office and tell them. Funny they asked me to stop calling. I asked them to send ME MY mail! Once the original forward expired it got better. But she still receives my mail every once in a while as I still receive hers some times. This is why I like e-mail. I have most of my bills emailed to me now. It really seems to help. E-mail does get "lost" every once but not to often, and not a quarter as often as regular mail!
