Taking into account the games, performance, momory capabilities, extra features and users... which of the two gaming consoles is the greatest creation of the next generation?

The 360 is by far the better console. I have owned both (simultaniously) and the noisy white granddaddy bettered it's counterpart in every area. Running both side by side on identical HDTVs and with the same game loaded their was no graphical difference whatsoever. I would even go as far to say that the 360 had a slightly clearer picture, due to the fact that very few PS3 games run at optimum resolution. In fact many games do not even support a 1080p res. PS3s are also more prone to game lag and I found many were unbearable to play as a result. The only area in which the PS3 has the 360 licked is with it's Blu-ray capability. Although again, Sony have yet to use it to it's full capacity. While watching blu-rays through a PS3 produces crystal clear images there are issues with the signal and therefore often produce "ghosted lines" (fuzzy sets of lines moving vertically up or down the screen). Storage is up to you depending on which bundle you opt for. The final deciding factor has to be the games though. 360s have been around for longer and without a doubt have a big head start on game lists which are both better quality and more extensive.

Xbox 360 because most of the new games, such as Halo 3, are only made for Xbox 360. The only downside is that you have to purchase xbox live cards.

I too like the Xbox 360. The PS3 may be great and have Bluray built in, but its price turned me off. The Xbox 360 has plenty of games, a great online community, still great graphics, and a much better price. For me it was a simple decision. I like the Xbox only games they have, and don't care much for those playstation ones.

I think the Xbox 360 is WAAAYYY better. PS3 has hardly any games. Sure, the built in Blueray is nice, but the 360 is going to have that option too now that Blueray has won the HD war.
