I was in a car accident in 2004 and it left me with POT syndrome(Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia). It's not a fun thing to have. Then again any complications from a car accident isn't good...Anyway, to explain this symptom in short, I get severe vertigo spells that causes me to pass out briefly whenever I try to move around normally. I can't drive a car or let alone walk at a normal pace without me triggering my vertigo. I have to basically move like a snail to keep my heart rate at a normal pace. This has caused me to be homebound. I lost my full time job in '06 and tried to work last year. I was able to get a part time data entry job but that was a temporary job. Since then I haven't been able to find anything because when companies see how I have to maneuver they change their minds about hiring me. I've been searching on the web and making phone calls in order to see if I could get a job in the condition that I'm in. As you can see, with me writing on this site I haven't had any luck. Can anyone out there help point me in the right direction as to finding a job where I can work in the comfort of my home? Since some of the nerves in my neck are still damaged I would prefer to stay away from jobs that result in phone work. I know head sets are attainable I just despise phone work. I just need something where I can just type away. I did have a temporary data entry job from Elance but it seems that bidding for a job is getting harder and harder for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
