how do I search for a discussion?

I have been trying to make sure I am not posting discussions that are already started. The way I search is the bar on the top of the myLot home page where it says "powered by Yahoo! search". Am I doing this right? I was wondering because so far I only get search results for websites, not other discussions. Also I do make sure the "discussions" tab is selected.
Please let me know if there is another way to make sure I am not duplicating discussions.

Your doing it right Zyann. Try both tags and text, tags are keywords that would best describe your topic and text as you would title your topic. You're doing great in complying with myLot guidelines. Keep it up and more power to you.

if you want to search a discussion, i suggest that you also try the mylot tab aside from the discussions tab. i think it's more useful when searching some discussions rather than using the discussions tab. welcome to mylot lol
