I don't right now. I won't be able to have any more kids because of medical reasons(I have one cute baby girl) so I may look into adopting in the future

I'm glad you have a baby girl. My best friend went through pre-mature ovarian failure at sixteen - early menapause - and can't have kids. I think its great that you're considering adopting. There are so many kids longing for forever homes - everyone wants the babies but they're are so many older kids that cry themselves to sleep wanting a mommy to call their own.

My wife and I have adopted 3 kids. It has been an up and down experience but for the most part it has been reaaly great. My sons have come from a really bad past and in the beginning we had problems with them having night terrors and acting out. They were going to counseling for that. They are getting better each day. We adopted our daughter when she was 5 months old. She is 6 now. She is the apple of my eye. I love them all very much but my daughter has a special place in my heart. I love it when she tells her friends that I am her Dad. It makes her proud to say that and me Really Proud. We would adopt again if the need arises.

I've had night terrors. It is a ptsd disorder some think and doesn't occur during REM - dream sleep. Did they sleep walk too or have hallucinations during the night terrors. I haven't had any in years thank goodness. Well mini ones. That is so sweet. I have that with my baby, the first time I heard someone say, and this is his mommy, I cried! I hope to experience this with adopted children one day, how lucky you are, how lucky they are!

I havent adopted any kids but one of my friends has. His wife had two ectopic pregnancies and ir was risky for her to try a third time. So they went ahead and adopted a baby a couple of months ago. I havent spoken to them after that but will do so soon.

I think that's wonderful, both for your friend and his wife and the child. I'd love an update when you have one - or perhaps you can start a thread and pm me the link. :)
