What would you want girl or boy?

I right now have two daughters, an 11 year old and a 2 1/2 year old. We are thinking about having a third baby. I know that I do not really have a choice in the matter but I can't decide which I want more a girl or a boy. I want a boy just because I don't have one yet and I want to see what it's like to have a baby boy to call my own, but then I think well I already have two girls why not have a three, I should be an expert on raising girls by time the 3rd one arrives. What would you want to have if you were in my situation? The reason I am asking is because I know there are certain things I can do to increase my chance of having one or the other.

My husband and I are trying to conceive #3. We already have two boys. Our oldest will be 11 years old next month and our youngest will be 8 years old the month after. I personally don't want anymore kids. I have no doubt it has to do with my miscarriage back in the end of 2005. It hit me harder than I expected. However my husband wants us to have one more baby and he has his heart set on a baby girl. I have agreed, though I'm a little worried that it'll be another boy as my husband would probably want to try again and again until we get a baby girl.

I have found that the husband is always willing to want to keep trying... I am like you, except I have two girls. My husband loves his girls but he does want a son too, although I know he will be just as happy with 3 girls. We have decided to stop after 3 but then again I think we said that after too

My husband and I decided to stop after our 1st and then again after our 2nd. So deciding to stop didn't do us any good. LOL

Were I to have a baby, I would just want a happy healthy baby, regardless of it's gender. I'd feel the same if I had girls, boys, some of both, whatever. I don't believe in "wanting" a certain gender, just that the baby will be happy and healthy, regardless of gender.

I agree it don't really matter, I am just having fun with the fact we are planning this one, the other two weren't expected. It is nice to be planning on getting pregnant, well at least trying to, the rest is up to our Lord.
