I am an only child, so I hope you have an idea how is my world. If you've got no idea, well, it's a quiet world. I was brought up decently and my mom is my playmate. Almost all my cousins would have a sleepover when they are not busy in our house. What about you? How many brothers and sisters do you have? Is it fun having them around? Please share. Thank you =)

i have two older brothers and then a half brother from my dads side but i never got to really know him. he moved to tnn with his mom when i was little. and there are times when i wish i was an only child but i'm glad i wasn't.. my brothers are cool but they can be very annoying... but they were always there to save me when i was little and they taught me how to Rollerblade and stuff.. so they are handy for something

That's great! So you grew up with the boyish things. I am happy that your brothers were always there. It's really natural to feel that you'd better be alone especially if your siblings are annoying. Thanks for responding. Take care =)

We are three, am the eldest. I have a brother, who's next to me and the youngest is my sister. I guess it's not that all different, because there are also some conflicts in-between siblings. Especially when parents do have their own favorites, with me being the least!]

I don't know what to say, I never had sibling rivalry. That must be sad. Well, you were born first, you enjoyed your parents first. LOL Thank you for responding. Take care. =)

That's great. You have a sister to share your world with. It was difficult for me in my teens because cousins that come over would usually spill my little secrets to Mom and Dad. I am glad she can visit you there. Thank you for responding. Take care =)

That is good. Is it hard to be the eldest and had to be the referee if there are fights and or all the blame is on you because you knew more/better and you could have prevented the fight? LOL You have a nice siblings. Thank you for responding. Take care =)

Well we are a family of five.I am the eldest.I have three younger sisters and one younger brother. It was great fun growing up together.Even now we do get together with our children.I feel quite guilty that I have only one son.Though he does have his cousin's he sure is missing out on having siblings of his own.I think one should have atleast two children.

Yes, you need to give your son another sibling. I tell you its a very pretty boring life to be only one. When my mom got sick, I have no brother or sister to call...I had to swallow my pride that I will ask help from cousins...in which I always end up asking favor from friends. Thank you for responding. Take care =)

i only have a brother, he is a year younger and we used to fight a lot when we were younger... we cant' be in a room together w/o killing each other... i was closer to my girl cousins than to my brother... it's only now that we both have families of our own that we actually outgrown it, or may be it's because we are wiser now that we are older.

I have 3 sisters. They are all older than me. It was kind of fun when we were all at home but I remember a lot of fighting too. They were all gone from the house by the time I was 12 so I had many years of feeling like an only child too.

Its alright. My mom always kept me busy. But I did wish to have a sister to share my girlie toys and I had wish to have a brother to have somebody to protect me or vise versa. Whenever I am alone an dI don't want to talk to my mom, I had wish there another memeber in the aside from mom. I had wished that TV won't be my only playmate and those pretty dolls and doll houses. And so I was pampered but I play alone. Do you understand what I mean? I hope so. Thank you for responing. Take care =)

I have one big brother and one little brother. I am a middle child. Since I only have brothers and not a sister, I always play with my friends or my cousins. It was no fun when I was small because we can't play together. I have to go to my neighbor to play doll.

I am the oldest of four two younger brothers and a younger sister. We had good times and bad times. We played and laughed and sang and danced and worked togather and other times we fought like cats and dogs. But if someone picked on one of us the others were there to jump into the fray and defend our sibling. It was nice sharing things at times and other times we had our pettiness, tattle tales and jealousies. As we got older and grew up we grew apart. Moved away from one another and we do write or call or now email. No matter what we still love one another even if we have our differences and problems. So it can be fun and it can at times be a pain. But the love is always there and you know when times are tough or the chips are down your siblings have got your back.

I have only one sibling right now. My other passed away years ago. But the living one is as annoying as anything. She can sometimes grate your nerves to the point of you wanting to snap at her, but then sometimes she is very companionable.

I have one sibling. She is older by 2 1/2 years. I'd have to say it wasn't really all that fun having her around, at least not once I started grade school and I was in the same part of the school as her. Once that happened it all went downhill from there. Though that was her choice, not mine. Don't get me wrong, there were a few good times when we were growing up, but it was only when she wanted and that was rare. Too bad I wasn't born first. Maybe things would have been better between my sister and I.

WE are five in the family. I have two brothers and two sisters. All are grown up now, this means, we no longer fight like the way we did before. There is a little conflict of interests and other stuffs. We are a noisy family, since everybody loves music and singing!

I have one sister. She is 4 years older, and I'm really glad I have at least 1 sibling. I think my life as a child would have been a lot more boring without her. Do you like being an only child? Or would you rather have had a sibling (brother(s) and/or sister(s))?

I'm happy you have one. Yes, I would prefer to have even one. It's really boring. You see, now that i have my own life and I don't like to settle yet, I extend my love and help to my cousins and friends, aside from my mom. It could be fun even if my brother or sister will keep on asking help from me. Thank you for responding. Tak ecare =)
