I think that in someway, because we already live in era which money is almost everything, so i trust that we can't live without money, but we can't get obsessed with it, because it sometimes can lead you to the bad things Do you agree? or you got another opinion?

Hi there Cross! I can never enjoy life without money. In order to enjoy life, I need to know that I have financially secured my son's future and without money, I can never do that.

Well i agree with you, same like what my dad had done, he saved money from the old days to think for his son that they will not get poor, and bad health. I think in some point we do need money

you know, there is some statement state a an ecomonic person, he said that if today we had enough to do our activities with $20, then tomorrow we had $50 it would be enough again, and the next day we had $ 200 it will be enough again..So it mean, sometimes we don't realize what is really need for our life, if we think we could do like the beginning with $20, then we can save almost around $ 210..So the need of money is increasing as our daily's money need increase too..and it would be equal to enough..well it depend on the person too

Well sometimes I think this about myself but I seriously hope that if I had to, I could get by with the absolutel bare necessities like basic food, water and shelter. Today on Oprah there was a story on 'freegans' who get their food clothes and furniture from garbage dumpsters. The stuff they get from these dumpsters are often perfect, with maybe a blemished package. Now the people who did this were not poor, a lot of them were actually professionals. These people were disgusted at the amount of waste that humans create and the effect that it's having on the world. I really admire these people and think that more people should live with that type of mentality. Not necessarily picking food out of dumpsters but by realising that life isn't all about material possessions and maybe we are living beyond our means, creating so much terrible waste.

yeah, we sometimes really a horrible creature, we trash something that actually still able to use by the other, and lot of people will not respect people who use that. But not me, i consider those people as "earth's hero". they reduce the impact that we had for global warming by reuse things that still able to use, and reduce any cost and pollution to create any those things

money almost cost everything now. we can't enjoy much of life if we don't have enough money. enjoyment in this era is equivalent to money. although money can't still buy happiness, but the things that will make you happy needs money too. but there are still creative ways to enjoy life without spending too much. i enjoy life just watching movies at home with my family and my boyfriend. i think that doesn't need a lot of money to spent. if you don't have much money and you wanna stay happy you can try creative activities which do not require spending too much money.

i agree, that with our creativity, actually we can have some fun, and things to do without spending any money, well sometimes we do need, but not that much. And i think money can't buy happiness is truth, cuz sometimes people that rich and have lot of money, got problems in their family, and this is a reality. So i suggest to use money more wisely

i do trust in Allah too, and sometimes when we had no money, we just think that this is a trial gave to us, but we can't just stay and do nothing, cuz in every effort that we had done, it will be repay by Allah.

I lived most of my life with barely enough money to pay bills and eat, but I was happy. When I got money, life was easier, but I remained frugal in everything I bought. The extra money was put aside for my kids. I'm trying to live a more natural life now. My husband and I bought a home in the mountains, on a lake with 3 acres of land. Yes, it took money to do that, but we sold a house for $225,000 more than we paid for it. That paid for this house. I'm now trying to get back to where money and electricity weren't everything. I use solar energy, buying a little at a time, and have my office completely run by it. We use solar lighting outside. I dry my clothes on an old-fashioned clothesline instead of the electric dryer. Our electric bill has gone down drastically. I also planted fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, and have a large vegetable garden. I barter with my neighbors for flower bulbs and seeds. I would much rather live a life without bills, so I'm doing what I can to work toward that end. We buy things to make our lives easier, then have to work harder to make the money to pay for them. It's a vicious cycle that I want out of, and I seem to be doing just that... slowly, granted, but I'm getting there.

i have to admit, that your life is one good example for all of us, you know considering for the effect of global warming that we had now, that really help a lot, and also "help" your bill, i think we still need money, but not that much, enough is already good, something that much is not always have a good end.

It was put to me this way once and I agree 100%... Money doesn't make you happy - choices do ... money gives you choices. In my opinion it couldn't have been said better or be truer.

yeah, that its right, i also agree with it. sometimes people think that without money they can't live happy, but even though we need money, but we do no need it as much as for our happiness.

no one can travel without money? i think you are absolutely wrong, you know why? Because we still have our legs and feet, that statement only able to be apply to someone that doesn't have legs. We still able to walk to some place, its only because of the transports these day, that make us think, without those we are unable to go anywhere

Yes I do trust that you can enjoy life without money. We have very little money and we are going to have fun with the children this weekend without spending any money. We have a season ticket for the swimming pool so we will take the children for a swim one morning. We shall walk to the woods and have lunch inthe woods, visit the duck pond and feed the ducks, and also go to the swing park. Other things we will do to enjoy ourselfs is a trip to the library, bike rides and visit friends and help them to walk there dogs. All this will cost no money. If it is hot and we want ice cream we will go to the frezeer in the dining room and get one from there. you can create a very good enjoyable time with the children with no money.
