Help for a Beloved Pet when you needed it

Whenever I could I have donated Funds to Organizations that claimed to be there for Animals in Need and WILL continue to do so. However, due to my own Disability I found myself in a Situation where I was living in a Place that a Flea Infestation was so severe it caused severe Health Issues to the Pets arround me. No matter where I called I was turned down for Help, it was very dissappointing and heart breaking. So, please for my faith and to bring awareness tell me of some good or bad experiences you have had in these matters.
