Do you prefer cash or credit?

I am like you, I really prefer to pay with what cash I have on hand. I don't like credit because it's so easy to say "oh, I don't have the money to pay the whole thing, so I'll just pay part". Next thing you know, you're doing that all the time and you have a revolving balance to pay off. But, I have been using my credit cards more to get rewards. I have one that gets me money towards a new car. That would be pretty helpful, especially if I use it over the next few years.
