Mirror, mirror on the wall...

And vanity light...and cabinet...
Yesterday I installed our new vanity light- without electrocuting myself AND it wired up just right on the first try! lol I also hung the mirror...that was unlevel the first few times which really had me flaming because when I checked the screws, they would be level but when I put the mirror on them...it would suddenly be unlevel!! How frustrating! After a few choice words and the brief thought of throwing it right out the window, I finally got it. Lastly I hung a cabinet above the toilet. Surprisingly, that went right up without any problems...though I got a good contortionist practice in whilst trying to hold up the heavy cabinet, line up the screws to the holes, hold the drill all while perched between the toilet base and tank...who knew I could still get into positions like that.
The best part...? It's all still hanging over 24 hours later- yea!!

I HATE trying to hang things and get them straight - I can never do it!
I'm renting here, as you know, so no home improvements here. This place needs more help than I could ever give it, that's for sure.
I have hung curtains in the living room and bedroom recently, and a few pieces of memorabilia here in the office, and did get a bit of satisfaction out of that, though.
Good for you for getting it all done, and apparently done well! I don't like messing with electricity myself. You go girl!

cool!! well i had just finish painting the garage walls in and out together with my husband last week..it was very tiring job..and had no wish to do it again
