Are We All Fading Away?

More and more I hear people talking about burnout. I hear of people on here who are wanting to give up on this site for a couple of days, and it just seems like some days it is almost impossible to get any responses back to the New discussions I have started anymore.
Where is everyone? I still enjoy thid site, and come here from time to time when I can, but seriously all my friends are disappearing again. If you are out there, and still wanting to keep this site active please respond, and let's try and make this site a little more active and Fun to be on again.

I have noticed it's been quite slow the last few days.
I know sometimes I see my inbox and that I have 50 messages...but when all is said and done I only respond to 1/3 of them. I just simply don't always have a response to the topic.
I still enjoy the site. Some days more so than others...lol. I spend alot of time on the computer and i have been trying to cut that back a little, too.

Well, I know for sure that this site does come and go in spurts. Sometimes, I think it could be the time of day we come in here as well. All we can do is come in here and post and hope for the best from there.

I am still new here and can't ever see me getting burn out, I just love to chat and people very often tell me to shut up as i talk to much and always have something to say!
I come here every day, I do spend a lot of my time on my own at home so this is a god way to chat and get to know people and exchange new ideas.
I am going to ask my husband when he comes in if he thinks I shal ever get burn out on talking and chatting either to people or on the pc! I know that he will fall down with laughter and I shall have to pick him up off the floor!!

I am one of the People that is not here a lot
I am still active but not as much no use trying to put the Fun back in here as the trolls come and ruin it
Members being upset, Members being banned for no reason, Members being stalked so really you can not blame People
But I am here for a bit every Day

HI KrauseHome, I'm still here.
Well, I guess we've been here too long enough and we need some time to "stop and smell the roses."
Sometimes I just feel that I can't think anymore. It's like I have exhausted all my knowledge and there isn't anything to share anymore.
I think it's pretty normal that we get tired of something after some time. But after a short break we can come back invigorated again. At least that's what I experience.

I do get bored with myLot sometimes so I do a disappearing act but I usually come back at least once in a while.
It helps that I have a very active referral that helps to make me a reasonable about of money.

I too have observed people are disappearing from the site...i was one of them....coz the majot reason for this is repeatative discussions...less interesting content on discussion...we should start creating interesting contents & also should not respond or encourage the repeatative discussions posted by the users...i guess tht would help to retain the users on this site...what say buddy /??

I try to get here every day and make a few posts and check on wassup!
I still find it fun and interesting 18 months later after joining and being paid almost every month.
Hard to say that much about a lot of other sites on the net.

I log on every day and try to respond to as many discussions a day that time allows for with working a full time job and everything else that keeps me busy. I don't start too many discussions though, I do good to respond to the discussions my friends start. I have over 2500 notifications in my inbox that I need to respond to but with the rate they pour in daily I will never get caught up.

hi i am here,i havent gone anywhere.i love mylot as well and have noticed it has been quiet for a little while as well.i have wondered where a few of my other friends have been as well. i have noticed a few regulars have faded in and out over the last few weeks.i agree lets keep up the spirit here and have some fun.happy mylotting to you.cheers sue

Hello KrauseHome, I am still here, well until Saturday that is then I will be disappearing for a week as I am going away. I must admit I have not been as active on here this week as I have been busy and trying to do other things, but I try to answer everyones discussions when I can.
I am not giving up on this site though, not yet, there is still a lot of myLotting in me yet I think and after a week away I should be raring to go when I get back!!

Some days I am more active than others. Some days I have more time to spend on myLot and on other days I don't have much time. Sometimes I can't be bothered to add many responses because I see the same questions which have been asked many times before.
I can usually find some quality discussions if I search around in my interests. I have not yet felt burned out or wanted to take a break from myLot. I still have the compulsion to keep checking out the site to see what's new.

I love this site and some days I come and find a lot of discussions that I respond to and then there are other days that it doesn't seem like I can find but just a hand full but I have noticed I do better coming here in the morning since I am a morning person. I do once in awhile take a break from mylot. Not because I am burned out simply because I have other things I need to do and when I come here I have noticed that I lose track of time. Going through the discussions and responding to the ones that are right for me to answer. Not every discussion interests me.
