Did Manchester deserve to win or not? Who's to be blamed in chelsea?

I really thought it was an excellent match. It was possibly the best match I have seen all year, and in some time. Both teams played quite well. I thought at times, though, Chelsea played a little sloppy. The only down sides were Drogba's sending off and Terry's missed penalty shot. Drogba allowed his judgment to lapse. He should have never let his emotions get to him like that. I also felt so bad for Terry after the game. He played so well, he should not blame himself. Both teams have so much to be proud of. I hope Chelsea will keep Avram Grant. He did so much for the team.

I was really expecting this game to be boring with both team's sitting back and not taking any risk's as both were well aware of the other's attacking abilitie's. But boy was I wrong. This was one of the best European cup final's I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. I personally think that neither team deserved to loose as they both played well, but unfortunately both team's cannot be winner's and I am so glad that it was Man Utd that won. The night will not only be remembered for United winning but for Ryan Giggs passing Sir Bobby Charlton club record appearance of 758 game's. Giggsy is now on 759. Finally I really feel for John Terry of Chelsea as he had the chance to win it and slipped. Football can be a cruel game at time's. Great final between two great team's, let's hope another English club win's next year. Thank's to Chelsea for making it a great night.

I don't think it's a question of 'deserving' or 'blame'. The team which won, won, according to the rules and there's no going back. Personally I'm a Man U fan but I think there were times hen Chelsea played better. The dreaded penaly shoot out is always a pain and a very sad way to have to decide such an important issue. Both teams were very generous in their praise of those who missed the penalties and refeused to apportion blame. This game was played in the very best tradition of the sport apart from Drogba's moment of petulance, and I really enjoyed seeing it on TV
