The book "Little Red Riding Hood" was banned in 1990 by two school districts in California because it contained a picture of a basket with a bottle of wine in it. According to http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/banned-books.html: An illustrated edition of "Little Red Riding Hood" was banned in two California school districts in 1989. Following the Little Red-Cap story from Grimm's Fairy Tales, the book shows the heroine taking food and wine to her grandmother. The school districts cited concerns about the use of alcohol in the story. I wonder if was in Napa Valley?

It seems silly to me, I actually guessed that it was the threat of the wolf that was going to be the reason. It is crazy. Let's worry about important things not silly things.
