Are you talking about the time the wings wheeled him out so he could celebrate their second Cup victory? that was one of the most touching things I have ever seen. I remember seeing Scotty skate with the cup in 2002. The moment I saw he was in skates, I Knew he was retiring.Those were my favorite Red Wings' moments . but there is a non red wing moment. I loved watching Bourke hoist the cup.True he was playing for the dreaded Avs but I was happy that he Finally got to hoist the cup.

yeah the 98 moment was the one i was refering too. Both the other ones where also very touching moments.
have you ever read some of the blogs and journals about the travels of the cup with the players. It realy has had its fair share of mishaps as well as touching moments.

my favorite stanley cup moment happened this year. When teh music was blaring and introductions were being made, everyone wants a big entrance to start teh series off right and get the adrenaline pumping. this was true this year only when marc andre fleury ran onto the ice for pittsburgh, he tripped. i have not laughed so hard my entire life. i live just outside detroit so ive always been a huge wings fan and that was a great way to start the series. after that he gave up 4 goals and his nerves were obvious so i do not think we could have wished for a better start.
