Kids home for the summer......

All 5 of my kids got off of school yesterday and will be home for the remainder of summer. Can anyone out there tell me any good cheap or free ways to entertain them this summer? They always want to be inside and on video games or the computer. I am injured and can't walk far so it's hard for me to take the younger ones to the park sometimes. Is there anyone out there that has the same problem? If so, what do you do with them in the instance that they just want to stay inside? What are some cheap or free ways that you have fun with your kids when they are home? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

There is always Summer Camps. When I was a child I used to enjoy going there. Suggest it to them and see if they will enjoy the idea.

Kerriann, That sounds like a really good idea too :D I think they actually might enjoy that as they get to make new friends as well. Thanks for the comment :D

It might be a good idea to invest in a board game that you can all play together, or some books to read. Or you can always play dress up with makeup or something. xD I had a lot of fun playing with makeup and dress up clothes with my friends, even the boys when I was little. There's also games around the house you can play, like freeze dance, musical chairs, hide and go seek and Scavenger hunts. :]

Megumiart, Thank you so much. I remember doing scavenger hunts when I was younger and didn't even think about it until you said it just now! That would be a really fun way to get the kids into things. And, of course, reading is already a big part of each day as we have children going into multiple grades (1st, 4th, 5th, 8th, and 9th are they grades they are going into). The hard part is that the oldest is only into being at home online. I'm hoping she'll let me french braid her hair or something that'll make her feel a bit more special. But for the younger 3 your ideas sound fun! Thanks for the comment :D
