I was just wondering how much you gained when pregnant! Kelly Ripa often said she gained like 90 pounds! I find that crazy since she is so small and petite! I have had three children and originally weigh 110 and am 5'3". I gained 40 pounds with my first, 15 with my second, and 50 with my third! How much did you gain! What methods did you find helped you drop off that baby weight (if any)!

I gained about 45 pounds when I was pregnant, I think. My doctor kept telling me I was gaining too much and was really hard on me, but it was so hard because I had to eat like every 2 hours or I would get sick. My husband was really sweet about it. He told me to just eat whatever I wanted and not to worry about it. After I had my baby, I lived off of coke, candy, and Christmas cookies for a couple of months and I surprisingly lost weight this way. Don't ask me. It was weird. It was like I couldn't bring myself to eat real food. Every time I did, my stomach would hurt. After that, I just started losing more weight for no reason. I didn't exercise. I just focused on eating carbs with proteins and vegetables at meal times.

I think you're probably the only woman in the world who could eat coke, candy, and cookies and lose weight :-). That was very nice of your husband! Thanks for sharing.

I gained 75 pounds with both of my children.I really did not loose all of it from the first one when I got pregnant with my second. My children are 2 years apart in ages.I weighed 125 before I started having children. But that was years ago, my kids are both grown now, and I now have grandchildren.I will never be that small again, nor would I want to be.

Yes I know what you mean! I was so excited when I thought some weight would stay on this 3rd time around. Some weight has stayed - not as much as I would have liked though.

I had three kids. I put on a modest 25 or 30 pounds for thr first two. Similar to you, I gained 45 lbs with my third. That weight came off easily because my situation was very stressful. In fact, my weight dropped to six pounds lower than my normal weight. Not so good. After the birth of my first baby, I did two hundred sit-ups everyday until I had my body back to normal. For my second pregnancy, my doctor had me walk everyday for two miles during my pregancy.I was in top physical condition and I think that's what helped me return to my normal weight after the birth. Just keeping up with my kids kept the weight off. Weight Watchers is the most effective weight management program I know of. You don't change your diet drastically, and the weight stays off. Good luck!

I did the same as you with my first - situps everyday! My second I really didn't do much but just chasing after two in diapers was enough!
