any plans for memorial day holiday?

hello myylotters,
we are supposed to leave tonight but the hotels that is near the beach we want to stay is full so i told him that we just leave early tomorrow, it is all rush coz i just decided that we go to the beach for his holiday instead of going to williamsburg so everything is such a roller coaster haha!
i walked my dog tonight and i found out that most of the car at the car park is not there so i guess most of them left tonight to avoid traffic tomorrow morning.
we usually spent holidays to nature tripping so that is a cool thing.
i searched the internet what beach near us have many seashells and i am happy that i found few that is just near to each other.
i am not sure how many out here have been to cape hatteras but i have heard that it is pretty good and so much to do while you are there.
we are thinking of going to myrtle beach but i told him that we just go there when he take some day off at work so we can go to the other parks near it.
we are bringing our dog (as always) so he is very excited about it. i shaved his hair and gave a bath tonight so it wont be that hot when he travels for tomorrow. he loves to ride in our car so those stuff makes him super excited.
so how about you?
any plans for the holiday?
i am hoping to get ideas from you so hope you can share some.

wow..that is very exciting jair..I know when you come back, you will be bringing topic and pictures for us..LOL, My husband and I will just be staying in the house, do some BBQ and watch movie. We also schedule for in-laws visit and have some fun with them. I am excited to have trip like that, I love beach a lot and it's been awhile I have not been swimming..LOL, Have a great time and have fun!

wow! Welcome back jair...We have watched a lot of movies and I love it since most are "tagalog movies"..LOL, I miss it so much! Driving to my in laws will take us 45 minutes, quite far..Actually, we postponed our date with them, since it was raining hard a lot since yesterday. So, my hubby and I just stay in the house, cook some food and watch movies..I still enjoy it.

45 minutes is not far for a trip, we have to travel 13-15 hours to visit mom and it will take us 3 days to drive and see dad - compared to us yours is almost a neighbor LOL
oh cool, im happy that you watched your movies can he understand it? i dont know if he is a filipino so forgive my ignorance then.
can you watched filipino shows here on tv?
anyway, at least you spent it with your husband at home it is still a wonderful one coz you guys are together.

we're back and it was such a great great time, we sure enjoy it!
yours sounds great as well i hope you and your husband enjoy your family bonding this holiday.
so how's your movie? did you watch a lot?
i hope you guys had a safe trip to your in-laws i am not sure how far they are from you but i hope you guys have fun with them.
it is a calm day today and my husband is just playing his game (xbox) while i am doing the cleaning coz we used so much on our trip haha!

thanks for being here and for the warm wishes. i guess 2 weeks of being home most of the time is enough reason to go out this weekend LOL
we dont mind staying home either, it saves us a lot of money and give us more time to just enjoy and relax without the hassle of gas price and traffic.
anyway, i hope you enjoy your relaxation day.

I didn't do much yesteday, except to do what I usually do, and that's spend the day in the cafe with my computer, and do what I want. It was a nice day off. Then again every day is a day off for me, since I am unemployed.

im glad that you did have another good day off yesterday at least you can always do whatever you wish without worrying of boss or deadlines or whatever that involves work.
i have to asked my husband for a vacation coz that's the only time he is off with work stress and i can see that he is stress out lately with loads of deadline so it was nice knowing we didnt have a computer and any phone calls during our vacation except his dad who checked on us.
anyway, i hope you find a job soon (if you're looking) if not just keep enjoying your free days.

Any plans for the holiday? Well, let me tell you they we dashed after getting out of working and heading to a 'social moment' at a local bar and saw that gas was $4.18/g! I was shocked! Well, I heard a rumor that they were going to make good on the $4/g this summer...but it is only May!
My plans are to rent more videos, do more online and plan to get another job so I can afford to make enough to fuel my car to make it to my first job!
How is that for holiday plans?

hello kingcrapper,
i understand the sentiments, i really wish the gas price will go down but it seems like that is next to impossible as they are already predicting a $5 before end of this year, pretty crazy ei?
my husband works at home and we rarely use the car so we are very happy about that, so a 2-3 hour drive to the place wont be that bad since we dont usually go to a vacation - our next plan will be august and after that is december so we are good i guess.
anyway, i hope you have a wonderful time at home at may you have a good movies to watch.
i am hoping to catch up next week on my online stuff coz i didnt get much chance to spend time this week - too busy with family.
btw, that is a good holiday coz we do the same at home we just rent a movie and just stay home coz it is cheaper than going out. we dont go much to mall now and just do walking at the park so that helps a lot.
anyway, have a great memorial day!
