Where are we living? Last week a father kills 14 year old daughter and the domestic help for they came to know about his illicit affair with another colleague! Where is our society moving? Are we safe any where? Or this is just an isolated incident?

Candy, I know which case you are referring to. Its indeed heinous and I condemn it. However, things are yet to be proved. Personally I think it's doubtful that the father could kill his daughter. How badly I wish it's not true!

In the world we are living in today we can't trust anyone hardly. It seems as if there are people everywhere harming children and woman and even men every day. Wat is this world coming too? I am afraid to take a walk to the park without my husband because I am afraid that something is going to my daughter and on the way there. It is just sad. it breaks my heart to hear news such as this.

Well, at least this doctor will never be able to practice again. Part of the oath taken by this person was "...never do harm to anyone". Obviously, he wasn't inclined to follow an oath, be it the Hippocratic Oath or any other pledge that might prove to be a hindrance to his desires. Horrible for his daughter and housekeeper, but good for society that he will no longer be a part of it.

Who cares about safety first we should be ashamed of what we are becomming as time progresses we have become so selfish that a father doesn't care about his child but about his affairs and when he kills her we start to think about our own safety rather than thinking to take some steps to correct our selfs. I think the cause of such happenings is us becomming selfish and believing more in individualism esp in the westren culture.

Parents kill their children everyday, so no it's not an isolated incident. It is horrific and horrible but unfortunatly he will probably get away with a slap on the wrist and a naughty boy from some idiots on a jury. Can you tell this type of stuff makes me madder than spit?
