I love my dog as if she were my best friend and my mom treats her like a spoiled baby, she's even more spoiled than me! That's how much we love her!

Mine are my babies. They are spoiled rotten. They get something most of the time when I go to the store and they know it. They each have their own babies, (stuffed animals) that they take care of. They have tons of toys. Their grandma and daddy spoils them more than I do. Their sister, brothers, and Uncles take them for rides and bring them back home later. They also go with me sometimes. Most here know I have 3 min-pins( 1 yr, 2yrs, & 3 1/2yrs) and one rotti (5 yrs). These are all my babies. I had another baby a min-pin, someone stoled him 8 months ago. They are so special.

This is the way it should be. They are part of the family. They understand all we say. Some people think they are stupid, but they are far from it. They can not speak our language but they understand it perfectly. They hear us speaking from the time they are born and the reactions of others to what we say. They know and learn from this just like a child does. When I say to mine it's time to go to bed or let's go night-night. They jump up and get ready for bed. Like wise for anything else I say. I do not even have to move a muscle. I do not yell at them. I speak to them, they know what I say at any given time. They have feelings and get hurt or are happy.

i think speaking to them properly is the best way to understand each other too, if they do something wrong we don't shout we talk to them like we do to other people. we and our dogs have our own language for each other we know when they're thirsty, hungry or need to go and they know when it's time to sleep or go out.

we also address our dog as my mom's baby to everyone, she's just a very special part of the family.

Our dog is a high energy addition to our family. Most mornings her spirited antics make us smile.I don't think we spoil her. But she does know she is loved. She makes a nice playmate for my daughter.

I have two kitties and I love them dearly. One of my kitties is in a cast and had to stay at the vet for two night because she broke her leg and it broke my heart to have to leave her! She was sure happy to see my come back to pick her up!

Our dogs are part of the family. I guess the question would be how much do you love your kids. LOL They really are wonderful the only problem is when they pass, i'm 60 and have had several wonderful realationships and suffered alot when they left this world. They were like my best friends also. Good Luck tdemex
