I think that when you only "like" someone you will do alot of things for them to impress them, to help them out, there is still an "unknown" about the person you like and you want to get to know them better. When you love someone you realize that you have committed to that person on a different level, and there are things that bother you so you now voice what you think because you will have to live with the things he/she does now that you are in love. When you are "liking" someone you want to impress them, make them choose you over all others, once you love them, you want them to work WITH you rather than you doing things and them doing things to impress one another. I think we should all take some of the "like" into our love, but I do think that you have to work together if you want to be together.

There is a difference in Lust, Like, Love, Interest etc. I often think that Like is better. These times are when I see people hate their family, but love them. Sometimes love feels like an obligation for people, and they do "Love" but not like a person. Parent/child, Child/parent. Many times we confuse Lust for Like. Some people are physically attracted to someone and mistake it for "like" or even "love" In my opinion that are many different combinations of feelings and emotions that connect two people, Like and Love are both words that limit our ability to perceive and judge a relationship.
