The internet is a place of multitudes of information. It is a place where you can find almost all of the information about everything that you want to know about. However, not everything in it is the right or best information which you can easily get in one click. One search could give you a million sources and that would be a problem. Can you give some tips on how to easily access the information that you want?

Wikipedia is a good place to start as it summarises the information found in a variety of different places, so basically it means you have to look around less places. Make a bookmarked list of places that you find useful for finding infomation on certain topics and always refer to these places first. When using search engines enter specific key words and use operators such as "" AND OR functions to get more specific searches.

I think that you will have to do as with books, when you are looking for material to something. You read a lot and then you validate the sources. The problem with the internet though, is that you normally cannot follow a note back to its source, because people rarely tell you the source. With books etc you can normally go back to the original source and get it validated. I normally read as much as I can from as much different places as I can. Then the information that is just mentioned in a few places is normally not validated - so you don't want to use that, but you can also not be sure that the information said by everyone is true, people might have just copied eachother.. But it might point you in the right direction! So, you have to be careful! Also I would like to warn a bit for sites like Wikipedia. You can normally find information there, but one has to be aware that it is something that anyone can put in there. I can go there and put in information or what I know about a certain thing. It is not a proper encyclopedia. Just be aware of that! This whole thing is a problem, I agree, but that is why I like sites like myLot. Here you get opinions but you can normally after a bit of discussion see what and who is believabel and not!

I think there are indeed lots of informations flowing around the net, the best thing to deal with it is to compare every informations we could gather. Then by that, we would know which is credible and which is not. For me, I always do my best to search further. If I'm not convinced from what I found on the net, then I would look for written proofs through articles on newspapers as well as on books..
