Graves Disease

Has anyone else here been diagnosed with Graves Disease (a form of hyperthyrodism)? I was diagnosed about a year ago. It all started when I started losing weight extremely fast, my heart would have spurts where it would just beat really fast, I was losing all the muscle strength in my legs. I wasnt sure what was going on, being that I didnt know hardly anything about thyroid problems. I started seeing an endocrinoligist and he put me on some steriods until me levels evened out and then I was given a radioactive iodine pill and since then I have been feeling much better! He is suppose to be putting me on Synthyroid but he hasnt put me on it yet.
