More Polite

A fat man and a skinny man were arguing about who was the more polite
The skinny man siad he was more polite because he always tipped his hat to ladies.But the fat man knew he was the more courteous because,whenever he got up and offered huis seat,two ladies could sit down.

Sorry, I don't agree with the fat chap. His courtesy is helping two ladies. Each lady is getting the benefit of half of his good gesture. The skinny fellow is helping one lady in full and therefore more polite.
