Does anyone have ideas on how to use smaller rocks in a project?

I have several beautiful rocks I found while rock hounding in Michigan and would love to do something creative with them. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do with them? The rocks are small, probably roughly 2 1/2 inches across at most and are of several different colors. They carry sentimental value as they remind me of a sweet time of vacationing with my parents and brother, so I'd love to somehow find a way to use them and enjoy them more often.
