What is the most weight you have lost in one week ?

For me I lost about 9 lbs the first week of weight watchers .When I did a low carb diet I lost about 10 lbs the first week . I have never been able to lose more than 10 . What about you guys?

A few years back, I was able to lost a max of 22 lbs in a week. That was pure crash diet and extreme jogging and exercise. It wasn't healthy at all as I've noticed I got weaker after that month and then got really sick. I had to gain back a few just to feel better.

I just get sick from those kinds and usually will gain it back . Sometimes , I will try to fast though. It is always better to lose slower . Too bad i cant lose as fast as i gain.

Yeah, I agree to that. Gaining can be as easy as sitting down and eating your favorite food. Losing is like getting up and sweating a lot. Then, you see you've lost little compared to what you gained. It's really dependent mostly on motivation. Hey! I already lost 40 lbs. since I started 2 1/2 months ago. I slowed down a bit as my knee got injured and can't jump yet. I'm really starting to look and feel better. My pants are falling down!

Pants falling down Now that is a sight . That is good with the losing . I think I will always be a slow loser and lose around 10 the first week , and then a few each week , but hey its better than nothing . I did this 3 day diet, and says you lose 10 the first 3 days.Then you get off it and eat normal, and just work out more . Think it worked my clothes are way looser , but my scale is broke.

I am not a fitness freak. I don't check my weight so often although i go for regular walks and do yoga. The maximum that i must have lost must be half a Kg. Have a nice day.

I've never lost that much in a week. But once, I did the salad diet, with nothing but fresh fruits, steamed and fresh veggies plus legumes and such. All rolled into a salad. I ate two big salads daily and was never hungry. I got to eat cheese, too! Plus there was oatmeal with fruit for breakfast. And, I lost about twenty pounds in 2 months. I didn't eat any kind of meats for that time. Once I started eating beef and chicken again, all the weight came back. I've always heard that vegetarians are skinner. Maybe it's because they don't have the meat in their diet. My experience proved it to me! Good luck on your weight loss! Be well. BeautyQueen

Thanks beauty queen !! It does seem that if you are a vegetarian you are slimmer . For me it seems cutting back just doesnt help anymore . So , now I am trying to eat better with more fruits and veggies , for the most part cut out the junk . Maybe a treat once in awhile . That is a good amount to lose when eating salad's and in couple months , not bad . My mom lost her baby weight doing a diet kinda like that in 2 months . She is a huge fan of salads . I know I am too . Anyway , I tried this one diet that flushes out your syestem in 3 days . I have no idea if i lost , because my scale is broke go figure .

10 lbs in a week. I didnot do anything special. I just play the dance dance revolution games in PS2 . at that time we had a big competition for dancing DDr in a mall. So I had to practice hard at home each day for hours to enter the competition. When I weigh in, I am kind "Are you kidding me?" Cause I never guess that just playing that games can lose me this much weight without any special diet.

yeah , its crazy how your body can burn fat doing all sorts of things . I sometimes add dance to my work outs.

Well,metschica25.I am considering on a diet now because the summer is coming!^^My friends and i run every night this semester.but after May day,we stoped and I still seems the same as before! And It is so great to lose so many weight.Keep going,but don't ignore your health!

yeah , because if you dont do it healthy it will catch up to you , or you will gain it back.

haha well you done a lot better than me, ive probably lost max of 3 pound in a week :( i think that was water weight anyway, im only 9 stone something but want to get down to 8 n a half (as im only 5 ft 1 or 2 it would be the ideal weight for me) but i even went to the gym at one point .... and what did it do .... NOTHING lol my sister said maybe my body was turning it into muscle but i dont know, i didnt notice any change at all! I think my body struggles now tho to build muscle or lose weight unless im going full speed because that was what i was doing when i was training for the army

I think at first with all diets you lose water weight . I think i have gained muscle too , because my body looks slimmer and more curvey .

u lost a lot!! please give me the secret.. :) the most weight i ever lost in a week is about 1.5kg.. i think its about 3lbs.. i did on high protein n low carbo, but i found that it doesnt work so much..

I did the low carb diet as well and got sick. There really is no quick fix . You just have to start slow . For me slowly eating less of the bad food and more of the good. It is always good to walk a few times a week and find an activy that you like. I always seem to eat a few more smaller meals each day to keep from getting hungry .
