Activists dressed in caveman attires arrested during protest... Six Greenpeace activists dressed as cavemen and travelling in a Flintstones-style vehicle were detained along with three others for public order offences, police said. A stone tablet accusing car lobbyists of driving climate change was confiscated before it could be delivered to lawmakers, a Greenpeace spokeswoman said. The European Parliament will this week start debating legislation to force down CO2 emissions from cars, with fines on manufacturers that fail to comply. What a creativity! What do you think? The cause is good though! read more: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080526/od_uk_nm/oukoe_uk_eu_emissions_flintstones;_ylt=AppvDt9rYS4POJSdIZljIpftiBIF

Greenpeace activists have to draw attention to their cause and being creative will always bring focus to their cause. Theirs is a lonely voice amid the din and clamor for jobs and lower prices. Even when times are good, very few people think about the longterm effects of some corporate or government practices. I admire their dedication as well as creativity.
