Since I arrived here in the states the only way I can communicate to my friends back home are through writing letters... but then when I got my computer I got addicted on it till I forgot to wrote back my friends back home. Now I think it's time for me to write them letters once in awhile. How about u?did you still contact to ur friends or loveones who are not computer whiz??did you still call them once in a blue moon?or ur time occupied alreayd by ur pc world???

I am also away from my family and friends. But I see to it that I could still keep in touch with them once in a while. I use sms and emails to communicate with them. At least they wont forget me. Well, I think its time for you to send letters and packages to your friends in the Philippines, they would be very happy to hear from you, I am sure with that.

Yes, I have done that one time.. i mean sending packages to my friends AND not forget the family kay magmahay tawon..lol...kinda expensive though but that's the only way to pay for what I did. I was the one who leave them behind. But it was only one time. I only send packages to my family not anymore to my friends only when I come home then they'll get something from me.. I don't have contacts with my friends anymore. Except my online friends.. di ba Long.. ;).. LOL.. Because you know what, my friends back home always replace their sim cards and forget to send me their new numbers. SO, I still have their old numbers... argh! kinda annoying sometimes but yeah it's not my fault. and it's also good 'coz they won't bother me anymore...lol.. (kidding)

No one knows I'm alive, not my old friends and I no longer have any friends who want to be friends with me so it is not so difficult not to keep in touch. Sometimes I wonder why this is so but I guess this is just the way it is. Online friends I have plenty of so it's no biggie.

The internet world can really keep you away from the real world. Anyways, try to have a real social life, our psyche kinda need that portion. Sometimes, you get carried away with the virtual world, it seems comforting to linger there, but then again, we are real beings. Keeping in touch with friends lately has been made easier by the instant messengers and the likes of friendsters/facebooks, and of course text messages. So to let them feel I am still alive, I would send them, text messages. :)

Hi leng, i've been here in korea for almost five years now. I remember writing them letters during my first year living here . As of now, all of my friend and family, we have contacts through computer. Even my mother learned already how to chat..lol. Just a joke, whenever she wants to talk to me, she will bring my sister with her(secretary)at the internet cafe which is only in front of our house.

No I have never lost contact to a dear friend who is now there in texas, usa. Unfortunately, she was the one who was kinda' missing-in-action in our friendship. I know she still treasures me as her dear friend because true friends could never be lost or kept by distance, that's my belief though. Maybe just like you she became very busy as a nurse. In your case, you have to find time to write to them because they really are missing you and wondering how you've been out there. Just like how I felt for Joan, my dearest friend.

Hi leng. I don't really have problem communicating with my friends. Specially my high school "barkadas". Though all of us already have our own family, we see to it that we send text messages, emails, and even chat on the messenger. Some of my friends are already based abroad but when they have their vacation, we have our reunion. I don't even have problem communicating with my bestfriend coz she is my sister-in-law. I married her brother. So we see each other on a monthly basis, whenever I have our regular visit with my in-laws. If I have enough load on my cell phone, I call them.
