I loved that part also, but more so the parts leading up to that when she gets off the boat and starts walking away and turns back to ask him why he didn't write her and he told her he wrote her 365 letters one for everyday for a year. And she said I waited for you 7 years, but now its too late. The whole movie was amazing that I find it hard to pick just one part that is my favorite.

That was the scene I meant. She asked "why you never wrote me and says it's over" and the Ryan answers: "It still isn't over" and they start to kiss.

wasn't it just the best scene. I get chills everytime I see it. Have you everread the book? I read it prior to seeing the movie and it was awesome, which is what made me want to see themovie all the more.

Unlike a lot of people I know, I like the end best of all. What a perfect way to go, no pain, not drawn out, and with the one you love most of all. Together to the end. It gets me every time. A lot of people think it's sad, I think that being together in spite of everything else they went through is the greatest achivement in the movie.

My favorite scenes are the ones near the end, when the old guy explains why he doesn't come home. I just like how everything seems to be resolved, even though his wife is still ill in present day. The entire film is beautiful, though.
