Slash My Search...Is It a Scam?

Some time ago in my search for a way to earn some extra money, I came upon this site called Slash My Search which said that it would pay me for using their search engine. I was intrigued and so I joined and immediately started earning. Before long, I made the minimum amount to get paid. The site stated that it took two months for them to collect their payment from the advertising companies and I was currently still in the middle of the current two months (the last time they got paid by the advertisers was the period of time January 1st, 2008 to February 29, 2008). So, I patiently waited until it was May so that the two month period of time had passed. However, it has been May for quite some time and the site has not updated itself and has not allowed my earnings to roll forward. Annoyed, I went to see some payment proof by the site and I found many of them. Now I am confused. Can anybody tell me what is wrong?
