I just submitted two articles to ReviewStream.com. Has anyone had any luck with this website? How many articles have you sent to them and is it worth the time? A few months back (okay, maybe a year or so) I submitted some articles, but only got 40 cents for each one. At that rate, I would have to write 150 articles before I could get paid. Let me know your experiences.

Hi JohnnyP5379. I have written 6 reviews for Reviewstream. They accepted the first 4 at the $2 rate and I am waiting to hear on the other 2. I do not check the bulk rate as I would rather add more to the review, if I need to, than only get 40 cents for it. They stress the importance of offering your opinions about whatever you are reviewing, rather than just describing it. So, I try to do that. I understand that their minimum payout is $50 so if you get $2 for each one, that would be 25 reviews. Good luck. PearlGrace

That's an interesting approach. Do you find that you can get $2 from a rejected review by adding more to it and re-submitting it? I didn't think it worked that way, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong about this! I thought that you could only get $2 by reviewing things in the 'most wanted' category or for items in the list of special requests (all on the LHS of the Reviewstream homepage). When I first started reviewing I didn't check the bulk-rate box, but then I got some messages saying that they weren't prepared to pay $2 for some of the reviews. As these were usually either for popular items which many other people had already reviewed, or for British products that a lot of their audience probably weren't familiar with I didn't think that it would be possible to get $2 for them, so I just re-submitted them with the bulk-rate box checked and got paid 40 cents for them. I believed that this was all I could get for them however much I improved the review, as they weren't the types of reviews which were particularly desired by Reviewstream. I hope that all made sense, I'm a bit tired ! If it did then I'd be interested to know what you think; is it the item that we review that determines which rate we are paid or the quality of the review, no matter what we're reviewing?

Hey liquorice. The biggest mistake people make in writing reviews is that they describe the product or appliance or whatever in great detail but then they don't offer opinions. It's the opinions that are so important in a review. For example, if I'm reviewing Keurig Single Cup Brewing Systems (which I did on Reviewstream), I don't just want to describe how there's no real clean up because it brews right into the cup. I want to say something like, I really love the fact that there's no dish to wash except for the cup I brewed the coffee into and drank out of. When I write my reviews, I keep the paragraphs short, maximum 3 or 4 short sentences. And in each paragraph, I give an opinion. So, every single paragraph has my feelings about the product or whatever it is. When I proofread it before submitting, I check each paragraph to make sure I included an opinion in each one. Of course, I always run a spell check. And, I never check the bulk rate. I've never had one rejected. But, if they reject it, and tell you what's wrong, rewrite it to their specifications exactly and re-submit it. Well, there's my tips on writing reviews. Keep writing, JohnnyP5379.

I am currently trying my luck with Review Stream as well. I have reached payout with them just yesterday but I am not requesting my money yet...sounds odd? Not really, it'll be my first online payout (I've heard from many people they do pay) so I want to verify my Paypal account (at last) before requesting payout. How many reviews? Wow, okay...well I just looked in my folder and saw 61 confirmation messages before I reached payout. Not bad if you ask me. I usually just write a few a day and skip some days and all that junk. Good luck to you!

61 reviews is not bad for $50 earnings, especially if you just do a few a day, only take you a few weeks, congrats. That is my goal too, to write about 3 a day.

Hi Johnny ! I joined and started working with Review Stream three months ago. I have been submitting "reviews" on different topics. Most of my reviews got accepted and paid US$ 2 per review. Some got only the bulk rate, that is $ 0.40 per review. So, just continue on, and you will do well. Best wishes !

If you want to know the right way to get a 2 dollars review, go to my blog. Basically, I put it right here that you have to write longer. Two or three paragraph of short sentences just won't do! You will bound to get the bound rate. I even wrote an article about Review stream titled Review Stream is a heaven for rookie to Associated Content.Read all about it in my blog. By the way, I already touched 50 dollars and just requested payout. They said they will process it in 72 hours which means that I will get my money this Friday or next Monday.
