What is your opinion of Mr. Winston Garcia?

This goes out to Filipinos in particular.
With all the commotion going on regarding the stockholders' meeting of Meralco held in Ortigas Center, Pasig City last Tuesday, May 13, 2008; I personally couldn't help myself but be negative about the planned takeover of GSIS CEO Winston Garcia.
As a slight background, the Lopezes own Meralco and have been running it for about a century already. And based on my own observation and analysis, it is a profit-generating company. And this is the very reason why this guy in subject is interested to take over the company. I think he's too thick-faced and corrupt. I have heard many people complaining about their unposted or erroneous contributions, pensions and claims from GSIS, a government agency.
What's your opinion on this issue and how do you find Mr. Winston Garcia? Do you think he's capable of lowering the rates of our electricity bills?

I think he is an idiot and a fool. I remember the big flap when he bought a painting for several millions when the money could have been used more wisely. I wonder if he is also the author of the order requiring pensioners to appear at the offices causing them more trouble and expense some of whom live in the province and have to go to the city to accomplish this. He is an idiot, if you ask me. Pardon my French.

Wisely said, I would say. I've got to admit that when I think of him and his doings (which are mostly wrong, I think), my blood literally gets warm. And yes, I do remember the very expensive paintings which was such a controversy then.
