Chelsea's Manager Avram Grant got sacked, what do u think? Is this fair?

Avram Grant just got sacked by Chelsea's board a few days ago after he lead Chelsea to finish 2nd in Premiere League & being runner up in Champions League, which they lost by penalty shoot out 6-5.
He only got time less than a year to coach Chelsea after Jose Mourinho left the club, and at that time Chelsea also can't chase Arsenal and MU for the title race.
But after Avram Grant lead the club, they even almost win the League, if only MU lost in their last game, Chelsea will become the EPL champion again. Do you think this is fair for Avram Grant to sacked after all his hard work and achievement for the club this season? Who do you think will be next Chelsea's manager?

yeah, i see that too, but don't you think they give Avram Grant a really short time to built the club (less than a year), since he had different style from Mourinho, it needs some time to get the players adapt fast enough to Avram's style :) hopefully the new manager can achieve the board target this year

chelsea needs a new direction.
the runner-up finishes are not enough and the board is really looking for someone who can lead chelsea to the top. i don't have any real idea as to who will replace grant but regardless who'll they put there, man u will always put the ball in the net against these chelsea losers!!!

yeah, i think the board is too ambitious, specially for Chelsea's owner Roman Abrahamovic, but i think that makes sense for him, since he already spent millions dollar to build up his team, but he hasn't ever clinch the champions trophy. But i guess to be the best needs time, specially if they just get a new manager, less than a year is really a short time to build up a great unified team with so many star player with a high ego.
