Already been there. I just felt like seeing what everyone else had to say.

John Lennon said, "I am the Walrus" in the song "I am the Walrus" John Lennon said "The walrus was paul" in the song "Glass Onion" John Lennon said "I was the Walrus" in the song "God" So John Lennon is/was considered to be the real walrus. The only reason why paul is said to be the walrus, is because John said it to trick people - "here's another clue for you all, the walrus was paul" - But I think he said it in reference to the "Magical Mystery Tour" album cover. Paul Mccartney was dressed up as a walrus.

Like everything that the Beatles wrote, there was a big to-do about the Walrus. I am one of those who never really cared about the Walrus. I just enjoyed the music and the words and the inventiveness that was the Beatles. They spoke to everyone in ways that were varied and totally different for each one. "You've got to hide your love away" is one of the songs that will remain vibrant and alive for me. How could a song such as that die?
