Most agree to have a fire wall, plenty of memory, use programs to remove cookies on your system and defragmatize your computer once a month. also I found that a program I recently used works good for this type of problem I once had, crashes. It's called registry mechanic- It helps locate missing registry's witch could cause crashes, should have spy ware and virus protection software to. P.S always back up important info. Photos, micro soft word items ect. I learned this many, many times before I started doing this

Hi Candee, The first things that I would advice to you is to monitor your PC performance, read the issued prompts carefully and respond to them accordingly. This is its way of telling you what cause the problem and what your next move are. Take note also of the frequency of having the same problem and if its to often then be alarmed. Monitor your anti-virus status in your notification area beside the clock. If its gray or has a red mark then maybe its not updated or one of its protection is disabled. If a virus is detected then heal or clean or move to quarantine but never ignore them. After disinfection do a system scan just to make sure. Similarly with firewalls, never allow anything that you did not request or expecting. Get your self a good cleaner utility, CCleaner is a good one its fast, easy to use and its free. If you notice that your program is slow to start then do a disk clean up and fix or repair your registry. Such tools is an essential one if you are not comfortable with doing it manually. There are a lot of discussions for specific problems, just do the search or post them here. For sure a lot of myLot users will gladly help you out. Hope this help and have an error free myLot experience.
