Garlic Breath

I absolutely love garlic bread. I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between. The only problem is whilst it tastes mighty fine, it leaves a bad smell on your breath. I don't know if I'm just over-sensitive or not but I can't stand the smell of it on someone elses breath - I can smell it a mile off and tend to back off when they're speaking to me. Because of this it makes me paranoid about having garlic breath after I've eaten it so I very rarely do get to eat it. A Saturday night maybe when I'm at home and plan to spend Sunday at home too. I have heard that chewing fresh parsely after eating garlic bread helps to neutralise the garlic breath smell. Has anyone got any other ideas that might work so that I can get to eat garlic bread when I want without worrying about the after effects. It's funny but when I'm on holiday in a hot country (I live in the UK) I don't have a problem with eating garlic bread and worrying about the smell because it seems everyone is eating it and it appears that the humidity and heat takes away the smell. Does that sound really daft or can anyone agree with me on that? I do look forward to hearing some ideas on cancelling out garlic bread breath so that I may eat it freely.

I love it too and yes it can be a problem. Did you know that if you eat a lot of garlic it can also come through your sweat glands? Well I not only brush my teeth I brush my tongue which seems to help. I don't know a lot about what else works. I will be watching though for tricks because like I said I too like garlic bread!
