I was borned in China, and have lived in China for thirteen years. In China, there is a special day for kids under 16 year old. On that day, June 1st, every middle school will celebrate this day which schools will buy things for prizes, and every student will get a prize. Each student will has a chance to win the prize, but prizes are from cheap to expensive. I remember when I was in fourth grade, I won a 9 inches television which is very small. But it worth for 100 yuan ($20 USD), it's very worth in China although exchange to USD is just $20. But, hey, I won a mini television. Other students may just won a pen, a pencil, a book, a notebook, or a bag. I'm satisfied with my prize. Does your country have a day like June 1st? If so, sharing with us.
