Has anyone made fresh sausage?

When I was very young mebe 5 or6 my grandma and her sister (from poland) used to make fresh polish sausage (Killbasa) every Christmas Eve. This my sound gross but they'd make it in the bathtub, it was for the whole family as a gift, and a very large family it was. they needed the tub to mix it all together. It was the greatest. I got the reciepe from my uncle a couple of years ago. Have you ever made fresh sausage?

Yes, in fact, we are making some today. It is South African Boerewors. It is very delicious. We have many different receipes for this sausage.

My step-father's family is old order Mennonite, and they make fresh summer sausage, that is really REALLY good. We all absolutely love the stuff. My Dad liked it so much that he bought 10 rolls from my sister. ;-)
