Underrated meaning, games that went unnoticed to most of the public that are actually pretty good! My picks: (ok might be old games :D) 1. Princess Maker: If I said it's a 'child-raising simulation' that wouldn't sound very appealing. It's more like a job simulation rpg where you're trying to get the best stats for your daughter, so she can have a nice ending :). The game ends on her 18th birthday, and well, generally the goal is to marry the prince because he's a good guy :D, but she can become a fighter, artist, or any kind of job too, so its fun to see how the ending turns out. There's 60 different job endings in PM2, but I like PM1 and the Princess maker: Legend of another world on Snes, because there are some rpg elements, you can equip armour and fight battles with monsters in 4 different settings and you find items and money :D! Much better than working her at some low paid job ;). I wish there was this monster-battling to earn cash option in real life too... :P 2. Snk vs Capcom Cardfighters (Neogeo pocket color): Ok, if I talk about underrated games, even the game system was underrated enough... it wasn't even released where I lived, and sold for only one or two years in the states and UK I think. But anyway, this was probably the best card game to ever come out on a handheld! The battle system was very easy to play and understand, the rules were very simple, but the gameplay was fun and addictive. The battles are done with a deck of character cards and other ability cards, and the aim is to lower your opponents HP to zero. You got to collect cards along the way by winning battles, and trade with your friends too. And all the capcom and snk characters are there, aka from Street fighter, King of Fighters, Samurai showdown etc, its just awesome :). 3. Simtower: It's like simcity, but its about whats INSIDE one building. You can build offices, hotel rooms, apartments etc, inside this one big "tower", and then you can see the little people living inside, and build elevators for them so they can move around. And you have to think about where to build things, whether the people can get easily to work, or to shops etc. Some people live in your building, others drive there... anyway it was fun :D! What are your favourite underdogs? Ps: I also love "The Worlds Ends with You" ;) check it out its new!

If you own a Super NES, you should look for Earthbound. Or, if you have a Wii, you can cross your fingers and hope it comes to Virtual Console! Also, on Super NES is Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. A lot of people seem to hate it, but I think it's a great game. Though, it's obviously a game for RPG beginners. One more Super NES title: Do Re Mi Fantasy. I downloaded this off the Wii Shop Channel. It wasn't translated, but it's still one helluva fun platformer. Then there's the Gamecube. When people talk about the greatest games for that system, they say Super Smash Bros. Melee, Metroid Prime, Paper Mario TTYD, etc. Now The Simpsons: Hit and Run might not be as good as those, but I think it's a great game. It's probably the best Simpsons game out there, not to mention it's hilarious.

Oh yeah, I have played some of Earthbound :) it was funny. I hadn't had time to finish it, i should get back to that! I think I havent played mystic quest. I guess ill look up Do Re Mi fantasy :D!! I love japanese games. Alot of them, if its not a rpg, you can usually play without needing to read. Sexy Parodius is quite funny if you like sidescrolling shooters :D I played the old simpsons game on pc actually :P. Ah, reminds me of the hit 'Do the Bartman'... they actually played that on TV when I was a kid! Was it on mtv even :O not sure.

Yeah, but it would've been nice if Nintendo had translated Do Re Mi Fantasy for the Wii Shop Channel, because I don't understand any foreign languages. It's a platformer...but still, there's a little bit of text. As for Earthbound, that is one of the most memorable games I've ever played! I think I played through it at least six times. You should definitely try and make time for it...it's awesome!

Oh yeah, that'd be cool if they ported The Simpsons arcade game onto a system or portable. I'm all for it if they do! I remember playing it a couple times, but I didn't get very far.

mine is pangya. it's an online golf game. you compete with different players around the world. you level-up everytime you win. you also earn cash which you can use to buy golf equipments & power-ups. some may find it as childish. but it can really be addicting once you get the hang of it. i also like gunbound. still an online game. here, you use your trajectory skills to defeat your opponents. you can play solo with an opponent or play a 4 vs 4 team game. you also level-up & earn gold. you can buy equipments for upgrades as well. ;)
