Why do people act the way they do?

I get so puzzled at times at they way some people do things. Even myself, sometimes I may do something and later after I thought about what I have done I look at myself and ask, why? So I just want to get a clearer picture on what goes thru peoples head

Most of the time people do things without thinking and like you said, they go back and realize what the really did and ask themselves 'why?'. Everyone has done this at one point; its just human nature.
