Whou would support in the Euro-2008?

The Euro 2008 is all set to kick of from the 7th june. 16 top european football playing countries will fight it out against each other. Unfortunately England will have to miss out this time but the english fans can still support any one. my support will be with germany and spain. these two are the top countries according to me and portugal is also a favourite upto some extent. Who would you support and who is your best player. Hope, my european friends will be the keenest to answer this...

It is indeed very bad for a giant nation with the most prestigeous league in the world not to have made it to this edition of European league, I mean England, Hence as a football fan who has the spirit of liverpool flowing in his blood srteam, I'm giving my support to Spain. They have started on a good note today, as usual, by smashing Russia 4 - 1. it is indeed a good result.
David Silva, Fenarndo Torres and the entire team, I say keep it up. You can be the winner!

My national team, Romania, managed to qualify a final tournament in a long time. The last final tournament (counting European or World Cup tournaments) we participated in was the European Championship of 2000 from Belgium and The Netherlands, where we managed to pass the group stage (along with Portugal, leaving behind England and Germany).
This year we are back to a final tournament and I will, of course, cheer for Romania! 
We have the most difficult group of the tournament, with Italy, France and The Netherlands, so we will be happy for every point that we can make... If we pass the group stage it will be an extraordinary achievement for us! We are happy to be at the final tournament!
