Do you use more than one cell phone? I have seen many people use more than one. they use one for all official, bank and all related to this. other for few family members and all. But i use only one. How many do you use? Are all the connections by same service provider?

Hi! I have 2 cellphones now. Ive always used two cellphones. I put different sim cards in them because some of my friends use that particular one especially the ones who are out of town. I use it to keep in touch. But recently, my old trusty phone that has lots of battery life and which I use for calls kinda dropped and got a bit of water. I know the water was not the problem so my suspicion was that the sim slot got loose because whenever I try to open it it says 'check sim' or 'insert sim card'. Now I still have 2 phones but the other one is in the shop for repairs. Im using the high end one and the service provider that most of my friends, family, and other for official use are using so I can receive any important notice right away.

I keep two cellphones with me currently. The older one which is a gift from my old colleagues I use it as a device to be used as an alarm clock and it also serves as a spare phone. I carry the newer one along with whenever and wherever I go.

Like cream97, I have two cells phones too, but I only use one regularly. This is because I am studying overseas now, and one cell phone is catered to use in the overseas country while the other one is catered for use when I go back to my home country. So obviously, both are not connected to the same service provider. As I am in Australia now (the overseas country), I use the service provider called "3". In my home country, I use the service provider called Maxis, which in my country is the most popular service provider so far. The cell phone I am using in Australia is a free phone and it comes free with a 24 month contract with the "3" company. Personally, I prefer it more than my older cell phone but I still cherish my older one because of the nostalgic memories while using it in the past!

i only have one cellphone. but i do have a PDA/pocketpc which i have inserted also a sim of different service provider, different from what is inserted in my cellphone. so i also use my pda as a mobile device. there are also a lot of people here who have more than one cellphone. usually it has sims of different service provider. people think its cheaper that way since when you call a number from a different service provider, the fee is a little higher. unlike when you call a number from a same service provider, the fee is cheaper. so many people prefers to have two different sims so they can save money.

Call me old fashioned but I only have one and I use it for emergenies! I get a real kick out of some of tbese kids walking around chatting on their cell phone unconscious of that is going on around them. They will be in with a small group of friends and chatting on their phones! I am an adult and don't see the need for a cell phone that much! Do you think young people lack the social skills adults have becuase of the internet and cell phones?

I use only one cellphone. I think using more than 1 would be a hassle even if it might be necessary.

i have only one cellphone. but since i entered university and started to use cellphone, i have used four! well, i am just a sophmore now. that's to say i have changed four cellphones in two years. i didn't mean to do it. i am not a guy who is fickle because of affection. i lost three of them, and i am using the fourth one now. i don't know why i am so careless. the loss really made me upset.

people here in our country usually have 1-3 phones at hand.. i used to have 3, each for a different service provider.. now, i only use 2... one is postpaid.. i've had that number since less than a decade ago.. then the other one is a pepaid one.. i often lose phones so the postpaid is great since the service provider replaces the sim each time but not the number..

Are you talking about 2 different numbers here or different phones? Recently, my mobile phone got crashed. It stopped working so i have given it for repair and temporarily using a different cellphone which my friend bought it second hand. so as such, I will be having two cell phones from tomorrow onwards but i have only connection. I don't find any need to have two different numbers. It becomes a headache to manage them at the same time. Moreover, extension phones have been provided to me in my office which makes it easier to make local calls and talk to my friends. But i m fed up with this second hand phone i m using currently. And all of the numbers are saved into the phone memory of my previous phone due to which i was unable to call my friends on their b'days. Pakka watt lagne wali hai.. I hope i get it tomorrow

only one,it is said there is radiation from cell phones and it affects health if we use it too often. And it is especially serious if we put it near our head when sleeping.

I am using only one cell phone, I am working in a office, and when ever i was in office, i will use the office phone.. My mobile usages are very limited. I am holding the mobile only for the urgent/emergency purposes. I use to get the Call from my parents and my brothers from abroad, through my mobile, and get some of the SMSs. I don't have much usages, to hold more than one mobile. My mobile usages are limited, to the extend of Rs.150/- to Rs.200/- per month to the maximum. My husband is paying his mobile bill for more than Rs.1500/- permonth, (including my usages..)(Ha.. Ha..)

I use two cellphones. Both are of nokia and the service provider is also the same. The service provider is vodafone and the service is good in the locality where I live.So I love vodafone. I prefer Nokia because its quality is high and it gives you many features in comparitively low amount.

I use one cellphone for everything. More than one phone means that I would have to remember multiple phone numbers and I am just not that skilled.
