Favorite baseball player or athlete?

As you all must have figured out I am a huge Met fan. I am sure most of these answers wont be a shock. I'm gonna try to keep this convo here short.Here is my list.
Baseball
1.Oliver Perez ( even before he was a Met)
2.Jose Reyes
3.Pedro Martinesz
4.All the other Mets lol
5.Paul big butt Lo Duca ( he better get well soon)
6. Ryan Zimmerman
7. Ian Snell
8. Freddy Sanchez
9. Xavier Nady ( what a twist there)
10. Johnny Damon ( more when he was a Red Sox)
11. David Ortiz
12. Prince Fielder
Hockey my list is kinda small .
1.Evgeni Malkin
2. Max Talbot
3. Jocelyn Thibault ( dont ask)
4.Jaromir Jagr ( fiance wants to kill me)
Football I really dont have a favorite
1. Used to be Jerome Bettis
That is pretty much all the sports I watch. Feel free to talk abot any athelte though;)

I am a huge Mets fan too. My favorite was Mike Piazza then it was Paul Lo Duca.Now he is with my home team,The Nationals. My other favs are Big Poppi, Shawn Green, Jeff Kent,Kirk Schilling, all of the other Red Soxnd The Mets and The Dodgers.In hockey, it is and will akwayts be Brendan Shanahan.Ans then it is the past and current roster of the Red Wings and the Caps and Rangers.With football it is Michael Strahan, and before him it was L.T., the original Lawrence Taylor.I like The Bus too. ps. I like Jags too and I stopped liked Damon the minute he announced he was a Yankee.

Speaking of a new ball park. Are you happy or sad about this being the last year for Shea?I am a little sad but I am glad the Mets are getting a new home.I am a Met fan who has never been to Shea. Are you coming to D.C for the Mets-Nats game in September?

I really miss Paulie being a Met, it just doesnt seem the same without him. I hope he gets well soon and same with Ryan. I hope to see the Nats vs Mets series in Septemeber at the new park.It is so hard seeing Damon as a yank ! I dunno what I will do when he is at PNC park late June .

Yep , that is the series i will be going to, if all things work out. Have you been to the new park ?
I am sad about this being the last year at Shea . I wish I didnt live so far away. I went to Shea for the first time last year and I was so happy I almost cried tears of happiness, and then later I cried cause they lost ( this was the last game of the year) go figure that was my first game at Shea. I was in awe the whole game . I was hoping to see the apple too , and we know there was no apple that day .
I like Shea because it was just the feel of being in NYC , and the fans are crazy . No one ever will cheer at a pirate game.
I am planning a trip to Nyc for August and hope to go to a whole series of Mets games.Sucks , I just cant get on a subway and go . It has to be a 6 hr drive lol.

ilike to see baseball especially when my boys were playing but have never gotten into watching it on tv. i watch football & am a huge peyton manning fan. i think he's great.

I am a big pitcher guy, so I would have to say Roy Halladay. There was something about him, even though he's struggling a bit and not really looking as good as he used to, that I enjoy watching. I know I like young pitchers, guys like Tim Lincecum for the Giants. Then I like David Wright, I think he's a great third baseman, and I can even say someone like Torii Hunter, too. There are really too many of them I like.

My favorite baseball player is deifnitly Greg Maddux. Partly because I am a Braves fan, but mostly because of his style of pitching. He never through hard but he could put the ball wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted, and how fast he wants it (under 90mph of course). It is the same style of pitching I try to match. I don't really have any true favorites in the other sports. Football I like most of the Browns obviously. Braylon Edwards is probably my favorite as well as Kellen Winslow Jr. I wish Winslow wasn't such a thug though.

Greg Maddux is a great pitcher. He plays for the Padres now? I hope I got that right.
Well, being from Pittsburgh I am not suppose to like any browns . Shh Shh !! I like Braylon as well =)

My favorite baseball player is derek jeter. I like him because he is a real good player and i'm a huge yankee fan. I just like him as a player.

You know what out of all the yankee players I dont mind him.They actually are in pgh tonight to make up a game .Kinda sucks i cant go . anyway , have good rest of the week .
